Whew! Did anyone else feel like January was the never-ending month???? It seemed to go on and on and on. January is always a drag for me, it’s the month after so much chaos and excitement, constant feels of being busy, lots to do and places to go. It’s also the month before my birthday, so it just seems to go so slow for me in anticipation of celebrating another year! But we made it through guys and we’re well into February! In fact, I'm so behind with this post, we're almost to Valentine's Day!
Although we’re in February already, I wanted to share some of my favorites for the century long month of January hehe! There were quite a few things I was loving all month, some things I spoke about in my posts throughout the month and some things I didn’t.
Ok so on to my favorites for the month:
1 - Garnier Skinactive Micellar Cleansing Water for Oily Skin
Ok so I never fall asleep with my makeup on! I have to get it all off before I feel like I can rest at night. This does an amazing job, I use it every night before washing my face. I like that it really gets off my eye makeup without heavy rubbing and it doesn't leave any weird sticky film on my skin.

Although we’re in February already, I wanted to share some of my favorites for the century long month of January hehe! There were quite a few things I was loving all month, some things I spoke about in my posts throughout the month and some things I didn’t.
Ok so on to my favorites for the month:
1 - Garnier Skinactive Micellar Cleansing Water for Oily Skin

2 - GLAMGLOW PoutMud Fizzy Lip Exfoliating Treatment
My lips can get super super dry, especially in the winter — also I wear lipstick everyday and sometimes depending on what lipstick I’m wearing it can aid in drying my lips out. I use this at least twice a week, but usually three, and it does a great job at exfoliating them and making them feel smooth. I will say I don't think it fizzes much, if at all, but I still like it a lot.
3 - MURAD Oil-Control Mattifier SPF 15
I've been really loving the Murad products lately and I first tried this as I was looking for a daytime moisturizer that wouldn't leave me feeling greasy, especially right before I put my makeup on. Confession - I used to skip moisturizer in the morning because I thought it would help combat my oil during the day! Since I was skipping this step, I also wasn't putting any type of sunscreen on my skin either which is definitely not a good idea. So anyway, I've since been using various moisturizers, but I haven't really found one I liked for daytime use until I tried this one. I do feel like it does a great job to combat the oiliness in my t-zone and it doesn’t have a greasy feel when I put it on either. Also there is SPF which is great for skin protection during the day.
4 - Peter Thomas Roth Unwrinkle Peel Pads
I used to use the Dr. Dennis Gross Pads but they are much more expensive. I decided to try these out and I haven't looked back since. They are great, I really feel like I've seen a difference in my skin since using these. My husband uses them as well and loves them too! I feel like my skin is much brighter and youthful. I highly recommend them!
5 - House of Lashes x Sephora Collection - Camille
I'm a huge fan of the House of Lashes brand, these are the second type of lashes I've tried from them and I really love them a lot. I usually have a hard time sticking to one type of lash, but I did consistently wear these all month (not the same pair lol, but same type). These look so natural but still give me the extra glam I like to have. They aren't overbearing for everyday but still glam enough to wear at night.
6 - dv Rhayne Jogger Sneakers
I wore these shoes so much in January and I will probably continue wearing them quite a bit for some time. You can see where I wore them HERE and HERE. I am not into sneakers much, I usually only wear them when I workout, but there are some days I would like a more casual shoe for running errands or taking the kids to their practices and games. I saw these at Target and thought they were so cute and for their price I went ahead and purchased them. I am so glad I did because they go with everything and they are super chic. If you are looking for a casual shoe and you don't want to spend a lot, I definitely think you should get these!
7 - BP Rib Trim Long Cardigan
I had looked for a long boyfriend like cardigan for quite some time. I saw a few instagram bloggers link this when it was on sale so I had to order because it was what I was looking for at a good price. I am so glad I did because I love this cardigan so much, it's cozy, a little oversized, and has pockets. I'm actually wearing it in the picture on this post! Unfortunately, it is sold out now but I did link a similar one HERE.
