CariPRO UltraSonic Electric Toothbrush Review & a GIVEAWAY!!!!

I was so excited when Smile Brilliant reached out to me a few weeks ago to try their new ultrasonic electric toothbrush, the CariPRO. I’ve actually never tried an electric toothbrush (gasp!). I’ve always wanted to try one but I was never sure which one to try. I wanted one that worked and would fit my needs, had a nice sleek design, but I also wanted it to be affordable. I think I’ve found the perfect option and I can honestly say my oral hygiene has been taken to a new level, I don’t think I’ll ever go back to a regular toothbrush again.

After using this toothbrush for a few weeks here are the features that I love:
Design: I love the modern sleek design of this toothbrush. If you’re working with a small bathroom (like me!) you’ll appreciate the small amount of space the toothbrush uses when it’s charging. Oh and did I mention it’s waterproof!!
Battery Life: The CariPRO is able to last up to 30 brushes before it needs to be recharged. Ag…

If you follow me on INSTAGRAM you would have seen quite a few clips of an awesome event I had the pleasure to attend this past weekend here in Kansas City, the West 18th Street Fashion Show. It was a great event I must say, and I'm glad I was able to be apart of it. I was able to get a behind the scenes look at the beautiful chaos that happens before a big event like this and I was also able to speak with many from the hair and makeup teams, as well as several designers. This was the 18th year the show has been in production, their Golden Birthday, and the theme was Summer Migration inspired by movement, heritage and history.
Here are some of the makeup looks that I really loved

Leslie Fraley of Fine Folk (read her bio HERE) I loved the wash of color over the eyes! Leslie wanted the makeup to embody a migrating warrior woman "ready to kick ass" yessss!!

Hey Hey!! I love to try new foundations, I've found a few that I would consider to be my holy grail products, foundations I can always go back to, always count on, however, I am always in search of the next best thing I guess you could say. I see all the new releases and think, what if this will be the foundation that triumphs over all my other foundations??? Ha!  Today, I wanted to share my thoughts/review of the Marc Jacobs Shameless Youthful Look 24-Hour foundation. I do not own any Marc Jacobs face products so I was super excited to try it out. Let's jump right in!
About the Foundation: The website markets this foundation as a 24-hour longwear foundation which encapsulates the SPF in the pigment. This technology makes the SPF undetectable, basically no flashback or white/gey cast on the face as often caused by SPF. This foundation is an oil-free, buildable medium coverage foundation with a total of 29 shades in the collection…

Hey Hey!! So if you follow any makeup pages or bloggers online I'm sure you've heard all about Anastasia Beverly Hills' (ABH) newest palette to come out - Soft Glam. I own three of her other palettes - Subculture, Modern Renaissance, and Prism (read my review of PRISM HERE), so I wasn't convinced I needed this palette in my life. I saw all the photos online and still wasn't sold on needing it! When we were in Chicago, I saw it in Ulta and of course out of habit I swatched it - gorgeous!!! But I still walked out without it, I had told myself I didn't need it. Unfortunately, I kept thinking about it. Every time I would do my makeup, I'd think about how amazing the Soft Glam palette would look, lol!! Basically, I needed it! When we returned from Chicago, a few days later I went into Sephora and there it was- this time I took it home with me!!
If you follow me on INSTAGRAM you saw I posted a photo the other da…

CHICAGO TRIP RECAP

Image
A few weekends ago, the family and I took an impromptu trip to the Windy City! The weekend we went was also St. Patrick's Day! This was my first time going to Chicago so I was beyond excited, I had also heard St. Patrick's Day is a big deal there so I was even more excited to see how this city celebrated. First thing I will say was it was cold and definitely windy! Most days we were there it was in the high 30's/40's, one day it hit 50 which was warm compared to the other days. I was worried it was going to be too cold and the kids wouldn't want to be out but we all hung in there and fell in love with this beautiful city! I definitely want to take another trip during the warmer months.
WHAT WE DID: Chicago Riverwalk - This is the pedestrian waterfront and since it was St. Patrick's day the river was  dyed neon green which was so cool. The kids loved it.

This was the best picture of all of us I could get it!!

Millennium Park / The Bean - The first day we went, th…
