Hey girl hey! I know it's been awhile but I'm back. I was going through some of my items and noticed a few things were empty and thought I'd share what I finished, whether the purchase was worth it and whether I'd repurchase the item. Let's get into it....
I loved this foundation. I bought it on a whim one day in Sephora and it was so good to me this summer. I thought it gave a natural matte like finish with buildable coverage. Since I wore this mainly in the summer I wore the shade G100 and it was perfect. I wasn't an oily mess even on super hot days. I wore this foundation at the beach as well. I plan to repurchase this product.
I wasn't sure I'd love this natural finish concealer and contemplated taking it back several times but once I started using it I couldn't part with it! Although it is full coverage I think it is perfect for everyday as it doesn't look cakey or "made up" at all. I also like to layer this concealer with others that may have a more matte finish as well. It goes on smooth, easy to blend and I love the applicator. I've already repurchased this!
This primer does a good job of keeping my oil in control although I don't think it really does anything for my pore size. A little goes a long way with this primer and if you use too much, expect it not set well under your foundation. I'm not sure if I'll repurchase just yet as I'm always looking for a better primer and I'm planning to try another one. It is a bit pricey but like I mentioned a little really does go a long way.
I really did enjoy this eye cream. The texture is great and sinks into the skin nicely. The skin under my eye feels more hydrated and healthy when I use this cream. This works great under concealer as well. As for claims of brightening, I'll be honest I didn't notice much of a difference using this. Ok, let me clarify, when you first put it on, yes it does give a nice glow, but I didn't notice any long term effects. I'm sure there are better eye creams out there and for now I won't be repurchasing this one.
I love this balm and use it every night that I wear makeup. I use this in my double cleanse process (post coming soon!). It doesn't leave a greasy residue and it removes all of my makeup so well - even the hard waterproof eye makeup. The cost is $30 but it last for a long time as you don't need a lot to remove your makeup. I will be repurchasing this product!
I received this product in a FabFitFun box a few months ago. I do like this leave in, it smells amazing as well. I don't think it lasted very long though and I've had better leave in conditioners. I think its great as a refresh but not as a main leave in. I've used better products from OUAI so I doubt I'll purchase this again.
Not many empties but I'll make sure to hoard them for the next Volume. Are there are products here that you love or don't love? I'd love to know in the comments!
