Foundation Favorites February 2020

2.24.2020

If you follow me on Instagram , you saw I posted a photo with some of my current favourite foundations. I wanted to share here as well and also tell you why I love each one of these!

+ Too Faced Born This Way - I love this foundation and find that I reach for this often for daytime looks or when I want a natural finish. I have oily skin and this still works for me. It gives a nice skin like finish but doesn't get too oily or greasy for me.

+Fenty Beauty Pro Filt'r Soft Matte - When I first tried this foundation I was not a fan. I actually returned it to Sephora. Then months later I was in Sephora again, tried a sample at home and loved it. Not sure if my skin changed or what, but whatever happened was a good thing. I love using this foundation for nighttime or more dramatic looks. When I want more of a matte face, I use this.

+Loreal Infallible Foundation - I wrote about this foundation HERE . It's a great everyday foundation. I love the natural finish and it really lasts all day. I like to use this for errands or most days when I'm not doing too much because it's less expensive to replace than my other foundations. This is definitely a must try for drugstore foundations!

+Bobbi Brown Skin Finish - this is one of my holy grail foundations and has been for years. It has a great natural finish as well and just looks like my skin, only better.

+Cover Fx Power Play Foundation - I'm late to the party but I just picked this foundation up over the summer and wore it out. In face I talked about it in my empties post HERE . It's a great foundation and wore so well in the summer months for me.

+Dior Backstage Face & Body Foundation - I picked this up on a whim and I'm glad I did. Over the summer I alternated between this and the Cover FX and both were great in the summer heat (even here in Europe with no AC in most places!!).

Do you see any favorites, foundations you love? If not, what is your favorite foundation? Let me know in the comments!

  1. Can you please include the shades that you use? It will be much easier for some of us that use the same shade as a reference. Thank you!
